Have list pre-call of STOCKING members identified as “green” or “yellow” “Green” – Member is doing fine and meeting expectations. They are maximizing their opportunity and potential with this supplier. “Yellow” – Member is declining with this supplier or is not meeting the supplier’s expectations for the brand.(Required)

Discuss and list each member meeting this criteria, identify what color they are coded as, list what was discussed and what is the next step for each member. Use the team matrix to build a business case for the discussion of each “yellow“ coded member.

Have list pre-call of NON-STOCKING members identified as “yellow” or “red” “Yellow” – Member is in the category and vendor and or SRT feels that the member should be selling the brand. “Red” – Member is not in the category OR the brand is not a fit for the member. We must exhaust this category so that the vendor agrees that the member is not a fit.(Required)

Discuss and list each member meeting this criteria, identify what color they are coded as, list what was discussed and what is the next step for each member. Use the team matrix to build a business case for the discussion of each “yellow“ coded member.

Which AAM member(s) is/are the ambassador(s) for the brand, and why? Why-why-why->how?(Required)

In the course of the discussion, were any serious promotional or program opportunities discussed? These should be shared on our weekly call.(Required)

Mention the Joint Planning Meeting and note if they need to schedule one. Larger suppliers should be once a year, smaller biannually(Required)

This next section’s notes must be summarized and entered into the Supplier Insights Portal for the members as soon as possible after the call is completed showing the questions for each section

How is the year trending for the vendor? Are they on track for the growth they projected for the current year? What are they seeing that is impacting business in general and also their category either positively or negatively. How is distribution vs. ecommerce vs. retailers?(Required)

How are the AAM members in total performing compared to their other distribution customers? What is driving success for our competitors as you see it. If the group is underperforming, specifically what areas or categories and why? What is the plan to address?(Required)

Any new upcoming category or product releases from the Supplier? Make sure that any PR, Images, dates are shared with AAM or put here if available now.(Required)

Any upcoming national or regional promotions (wholesale or retail) or support materials? Spiffs, etc.(Required)

Any upcoming price changes (remind of AAM policy)(Required)

What are your current lead times? (How long to get to 90%+ from P.O)(Required)

What types of marketing items do you have available to cultivate and grow the brand. POP, national campaigns, etc.(Required)

Member sales support. Ride along with sales teams, reps or factory personnel, etc.(Required)

Annual sales training with member (on location) and with the entire group (via Teams) Always default to the group and getting the group in front of them.(Required)
